Gratifying showed in Germany successful in the young jumper classes. Qualified and showed successful at the Federal Young Horse Finals for 6 year old jumpers with H.J. Ottens.

He finished the season with good ribbons in the champion-ships.

During the first WEF circuit he finished with the “Champion” ribbon. In California he continued successful and won several “Conformation” classes.

Back on the east coast he showed with owner Lee Kellogg at the Lake Placid horse show and came home with the "Grand Hunter Champion” ribbon.
