Rider: Mary-Lisa Leffler Graf Rossini, the approved Oldenburg stallion fulfilled his stallion performance test with sufficient scores. His offspring are a mirror image of himself. During his career as a young jumper he won innumerable „blue” ribbons in the jumper suitability tests. Later he got his first Grand Prix experience with German’s Nations Cup rider Holger Wulschner. Late in 1999 Graf Rossini found his new match with Mary Lisa Nicholson. It was love on “first sight”. They performed in Ocala, Fl and won 4 out of 6 classes. They had their first Grand Prix appearance in Virginia the same year and won the $ 15,000 Welcome Stakes and placed 8th in the Sunday Grand Prix among most of the US Grand Prix riders, including Olympic veterans Joe Fargis and Peter Leone. They also received good ribbons in the Grand Prix classes of Kentucky. Later, during the Vermont circuit, Graf Rossini and Mary Lisa won their first Grand Prix after a very fast jump off. During their awesome career over many years, they were nominated for the Nations Cup tour in Europe and came home with very good results.
