Breeder of Fiala is Kerstin Kühn and her sister Ilona Schonebeck. Fiala got sold as a foal to Paul Schockemöhle. In Spain she had her first show experience and attracted lots of attention. Several international show jumper riders were interested in buying Fiala.

Otto Becker succeeded in the biting contest and showed Fiala very successful over a number of years at international Grand Prix level. After she was retired, she became a very valuable brood mare for the future show jumping stars at Otto Becker’s family equestrian centre.
