Gember is a well planed product from an international successful family line. He is an awesome youngster stallion with the nicest attitude a horseman can think off! His entire movements are so athletic, his body so under control at the jump, that the expectations are high for a successful career.

His dam line produced outrageous horses as the approved stallion Quasimodo – T, the reserve champion in the 5 year old World Championships Lanaken 2005. Purchased by Paul Schockemöhle, Quasimodo was one of the top sellers at the world famous PSI auction 2005 for € 350.000,00.

Another very promising Grand Prix jumper is the mare Centa SZ. She placed in the upper ribbons at the 7 years old World Championships at Lanaken and competes now at international level with Belgium lady’s rider Gudrun Pattet; Walesko, ridden by Tim Hoster won the youngster tour finals at the CSI show in Lummen / Belgium 2005 and continued with great success in the bigger classes, before he got sold.

An outrageous offspring out of this dam line is certainly the approved stallion and successful international Grand Prix jumper Vangelis S, ridden by Robert Smith / GB, whose half brother, the approved stallion Comodor SZ already jumps around the international Grand Prix classes at the age of eight. Schonebeck-Stable is very proud to own another wonderful offspring from this family line. The 6 year old gelding Apalachicola is by Acorado, out of Centa SZ, (as mentioned above), by Carthago. Apalachicola gathered lots of good ribbons in the young jumper classes and looks promising for the coming up Youngster Grand Prix classes.


To write about Quidam de Revel needs a special time frame. During his life time he added so many positive Grand Prix jumpers to the equestrian scene, approved stallions and outrageous brood mares. He started his career in France with Herve Godignion and finished with Thomas Velin from Denmark.

Quidam de Revel is approved by every European stud book and produced such outrageous Grand Prix stallions as Quaprice Du Bois Margot, Guidam, himself a Grand Prix jumper (1.60), who is the sire of some of the best horses in the World, Authentic / Beeze Madden / USA and Ninia La Silla, ridden by Rolf Göran Bengstrom / Sweden. Quidam de Revel also produced Nabab de Reve, who again, produced the international successful Grand Prix jumper stallion Vigo D’'Arsouilles, successful ridden by Phillip Lejone. Besides Up Chiqui, one of the best international show jumpers in the USA, ridden by Kent Farrington, Quidam de Revel produced many, many more successful sport horses.

Quidam de Revel certainly belongs into the top rankings among the best stallions in the world, by his own performance statistic and the successful international Grand Prix jumper he produced.

Robin II Z, the dam sire of Gember, also jumped super successful around the international Grand Prix courses with Thomas Velin in tack. Robin I Z, his full brother jumped enormous successful at international level with Peter Erikkson / Sweden.

Agile V/H Appelsvoordehof, the dam of Gember, was on her way into the Grand Prix jumper ring. After a successful career in the bigger classes, she was retired due to an eye injury and started her second career as a brood mare. She is by the international successful Grand Prix jumper Robin II Z.
 
Robin II Z contains some of the best blood lines, the world of show jumper breeding has to offer. His sire Ramiro, a grandson of the legendary Anglo Arab Ramzes x, jumped himself at international level with German rider Fritz Ligges:

Ramiro produced himself a tremendous amount of international successful Olympic Grand Prix jumpers, such as Ratina Z / Piet Raymakers  OG ’92 and Ludger Beerbaum / OG ‘96 , Royal Kaliber / Chris Kappler / OG 04;  Ramsez / Fritz Ligges /OG ’84, Lektron / Robert Dover / OG 92.

Alme´, the former Grand Prix jumper, is the dam sire of Robin II Z. Alme´ has to this day an enormous influence in the world wide breeding programs. He sired an innumerable amount of international Grand Prix jumpers and a string of approved sons around the globe. He also is the sire of international successful Grand Prix jumper stallion Jalisco, the sire of Quidam de Revel: Alme´ produced far more than 40 approved sons.

Gotthard, born in 1949, the legendary Hanoverian grey stallion, is the sire in in the third generation of Robin II Z pedigree. He sired a tremendous amount of successful jumpers. His genes are, still to this day, in numerous stallions, international Grand Prix jumpers and State Premium brood mares involved. Gotthard’s is the grand dam sire of the stallion Landkönig, who sired the Olympic and international Grand Prix jumper Lantinus, winner of the CHIO Aken 2009, ridden by Denis Lynch. The stallions Amaretto I and II are both descendant from the Gotthard dam line and were winner at international Grand Prix level.

Gotthard sired 24 sons and is also the grand sire in Voltaire. He appears in the first two generations of more than 73 approved stallions all over the world to carry on with his absolutely valuable gene pool.

In connection with the stallion Alme´, this pedigrees gains even more importance and value to the international show jumping breed.

Latano the sire of Gember’s pedigree in the third generation is a son by the legendary stallion Landgraf, out of the Sanka, by Capitano – Attila (Anblick xx). Latano is from the Holstein mare line # 1094 and inherited the positive ingredient from his ancestors.

He himself jumped successfull around in some Grand Prix classes and left many top sport horses, as Pion van Koekenhuyze, the approved Grand Prix stallion Visage v/d Olmenhoeve, or Nelke v/h Watershoot, ridden by Gudrun Pattet. Latano also produced a number of horses for the dressage arena.
 
His sire Landgraf sired over close to 28 years an outrageous amount of international Grand Prix show jumpers and several Olympic competitors. His sire Ladykiller xx comes from the TB-16 dam line and sired, besides the famous Landgraf, also the stallion Lord, who is also the dam sire of the French Grand Prix stallion Quaprice Du Bois Margot, by Quidam de Revel.

Landgraf’s dam sire Aldato traces back to the thoroughbred stallion Anblick xx, an offspring of the TB-9e dam line. Landgraf is in the pedigrees of more than 50 approved stallions involved. He also is the dam sire of the World Champion show jumper Cumano / Jos Lansink, or Canarias, international 1.60 meter show jumper, or is the dam sire of the 7 year old stallion Verdi, winning already 1.50 meter classes.

Capitano, the dam sire of Latano, is a grand son of the thoroughbred stallion Cottage Son xx, who is from the TB-2b dam line. His dam Retina, by the legendary Anglo Arab Ranzes x, was one of the most successful show jumpers at her time in the 1960ties. She won 3 times the prestigious Hamburg Derby, with Fritz Tiedemann in tack, as also numerous international Grand Prix classes throughout her career, before she turned into a brood mare.

Attila, the sire in Latano’s pedigree is again a descendant from the famous thoroughbred stallion Anblick xx, TB-9e dam line, who has still an enormous influence in the sport horse breeding of today.

Alcanar xx is an offspring of the TB-13 dam line and sired in the first, second and third generation more than 20 approved stallions. The stallion Lord II Z, first ridden by Judy Anne Melchior and still internationally successful with Geir Gulliksen / Norway, Orlanda de La Provillo, or the international show jumper Branco, they all are a good proof for the genetically strength of the thoroughbred stallion Alcanar xx.

Magneet van het Goor, the sire in the fourth generation of Gember’s family line, is one of the first refined stallions in the early 1960ties. He appears as the dam sire in the pedigree of the international show jumper Qatar D’Hof Ten Bos / Sören Pederson / Denmark, who showed in 2008 / 2009 outrageous successful at international level,

Magneet van het Goor’s pedigree is based on some of the best genes the Hanoverian breeding program had to offer. His pedigree includes the TB-2i; TB-6; TB-1a and several others. The warm blood stallions involved in this pedigree are considered to be some of the best stallions, well known for producing power and strength for the big international jumper classes.

Vicomte, the stallion in the fifth generation was born in 1956 and is based on the French blood lines with the stallions L’ Invasion, Lys de la Vallee, Upan, which are still to be found in the background of today’s horse breeding.

The sixth generation of Gember’s pedigree traces back to 1844 and includes most of the very valuable genetics of the earlier days of horse breeding from Oldenburg, Hanover and Holland. These genetics are also to be found in the background of approved stallions in Oldenburg 2009.
