Fierro van de Molendreef

Fierro van de Molendreef is a son of the world class Grand Prix jumper Clinton and is a perfect designed athlete. His basic gates are outstanding and his jump, scope and carefulness are awesome. He could go both ways; would leave a super impression in the dressage ring, but his world will be the jumper or hunter ring.

His sire Clinton was ridden by Dirk Deemersmann very successful in Nation Cups for Belgium. The combination placed 4th in the individual Rankings at the Olympic Games in Athens 2004 and placed second at the CHIO Aachen, right behind the horse of the century Shutterfly, ridden by the international show jumping star Meridith Michels Beerbaum.

Clinton is by Corrado – Masetto – Landgraf. Corrado also showed with Franke Sloothaak in tack at international competitions and was innumerable times a member of the German Nations Cup team.

Clinton sired numerous Grand Prix jumpers and licensed stallions for the breeding programs around the world. Castel Forbes Vivaldi, successful with Irish rider Jessica Kürten, Utrillo, second place at the World Championships of the seven year old jumpers, now successful under tack with Franke Sloothhaak. Those horses are just a few examples and ambassadors for this great and pre potent Holstein stallion Clinton.

Hydra, the dam of Fierro is daughter of Oldenburg stallion Beach Boy (Zeus x Lucky Boy xx) who is also the dam sire of Arko III., the Olympic show jumper and international successful Grand Prix horse, ridden by Nick Skelton. Hydra produced Run Away van de Molendreef by Heartbreaker, whose daughter Bella Vita by Clinton got sold for 55.000 Euro at the Fences auction.

Hydra  also produced Vicomte van de Molendreef also by Clinton who jumped well in the 6-year old circuit and Quandance van de Molendreef, by Heartbreaker, who is outstanding successful at 1.40- 1.50 meter level. One of the most successful Grand Prix jumpers from this family line is Corel Reef Via Volo. With champion rider Beezie Madden on board, they won the Grand Prix of Europe during the CHIO Aken 2010. As a strong member of the American Nations Cup Team at the Super League during the international horse show in Dublin they helped the USEF team successful. Corel Reef Via Volo is by Clinton - Heartbreaker, out of Hydra, by Beach Boy - Alme´. Her full brother Deep Purple van de Molendreef is successful at the international youngster level with Toni Hassmann in tack.
