Caliente ex Dalton van den Bisschop

Caliente was already at his foal age a very special “sunshine boy”. Now fully matured, he grew into a “big boy”, who is equipped with all the attributes for the show jumping world. He is very easy to deal with, knows all the vocabulary of riding and moves like a “power house”. His skills at the fences are exceptional where he shows his top quality, jumps with lots of power, very careful and with a superb technique.

His sire Clinton is already during his lifetime considered being legendary. Among all his success in the international Grand Prix ring, he finished second in the Grand Prix of the CHIO in Aachen and finished fourth, always with Dirk Demeersman in tack, in the individual ranking at the Olympic Games in Athens 2004. Numerous offspring compete at international Grand Prix level; there as Cornett Obolensky / Marco Kutscher, Castle Forbes Vivaldi / Jessica Kürten, and many others.

Kannan, the dam sire of Caliente, is a product of the KWPN breeding program. His sire Voltaire jumped at international Grand Prix level with Jos Lansink, as also his dam sire Nimmerdor jumped successful at international Grand Prix level. He competed himself at the Olympic Games in Athens, jumped successful on the European Championships and became the French Champion 2005, always with Michel Hecart / France on board. Kannan’s pedigree includes the valuable genes of the legendary thoroughbred stallion Furioso xx, the valuable genes of the earlier Holstein breeding program, as also the genetics from the early stage of the KWPN breed.

Caliente’s grand dam sire is the successful Grand Prix stallion Obelsique Normand, who traces back to the successful French jumper breeding program. His sire Fend L’ Air is an offspring of the legendary stallions as Starter, who is the dam sire of Baloubet Du Rouet, and is a son of Rantzau xx , who produced the legendary stallion Cor de la Bryere.

Batifol, the sire in the fourth generation, is also an offspring from the successful Selle Francoise sport horse breeding program He is by the successful thoroughbred stallion Enfant Terrible xx, and through his dam line he originates from the thoroughbred stallion Ultimate xx, the dam sire of the world wide famous stallion Alme´.

The international successful Grand Prix jumper Quel Homme v/d Heffinick, who won the German Championships under tack of Rene Tebbel, they all state the genetically power of the successful French jumper breeding program.
